Divorce Hurts - Find help through DivorceCare
That's the reason for DivorceCare--a series of support groups and seminars conducted by people who understand what you are experiencing.
The facilitators are not professional counselors, therapists, psychologists, or psychiatrists, but loving Christians who have a real concern for those in your life situation.
Most importantly, you will learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.
DivorceCare is non-denominational and features biblical teaching for recovering from divorce and separation. Support GroupAt DivorceCare you will become part of a small group of people who are also experiencing separation and divorce.
You will find encouragement and support as you interact with others about your own life situation and the information shared during the seminar.
Many have expressed their feeling that this discussion and sharing time is the most helpful part of DivorceCare. Schedule
You are welcome to begin attending the DivorceCare group on any week. Each session is “self-contained,” and you can continue through the next session to view any of the topics you have not seen (or to review any of special interest). Seminar Topics
“The most helpful thing has been to learn to forgive myself and my ‘ex.' I have stopped beating myself up.”
“The honesty and openness of the victims on the tapes helped me face my feelings and my situation/divorce.”
“I liked the interviews with the ‘real' people. The counselor or psychologist set the stage, but the real people make it ‘real.
“DivorceCare videotapes give you the right answers to so many questions you have while going through divorce.”
‘After fifteen years, I forgave my former wife--blessed relief and new freedom!” |
