In 1925 a handful of people came together with a strong conviction of a need for a church on the expanding eastside of Muskogee. They would begin meeting in a living room, and they would call this newly gathered family of believers Boulevard Christian Church. The heart of the church was obvious from the beginning. A banner outside Boulevard’s earliest building read, "A Stranger But Once."
Our location has changed, but the heartbeat of those living room pioneers continues with Boulevard today.
Years later, the vision for Boulevard remains the same, only the living room has gotten bigger.
